DD, our 2nd reflux baby, has been on prevacid for about a week now…the zantac stopped working after 3 days, and she is as fussy as ever when nursing. She’s pretty ok the rest of the time, and I am fairly certain the prevacid has kicked in because she doesn’t cry when she has clearly just swallowed back a mouthful of spit up. But when she nurses, she draws her legs up, writhes around, and pulls on and off while screaming. She really seems like something else is bothering her. I can hear crazy “foamy” sounds in her stomach too. Unless she is sleepy, she acts this way while nursing. Her poops are normal yellow seedy, but often explosive and foamy as well. She’s got a blistery looking diaper rash this morning after I had pizza last night and she had a night filled with what seemed like a zillion foamy poops. Would you suspect a food intolerance? I’m trying to muster the determination to do TED again after trying that with my first and not seeing any results.
