Can anyone tell me their experience with chiropractic care? I am thinking of taking my 8wk old to see a chiropractor. Tried to look for info in forum, couldn’t find much.

Info: 8wk old baby girl with acid reflux on prevacid two weeks now, giving some relief, still refluxing, still in pain, but better!

Appreciate it!

many have tried it! including me!
for my son I don’t think it helped all that much…BUT…it didn’t hurt!
We were DESPERATE…

another thing I really wanted to try was craneal sacral massage, but I couldn’t find a practioner nearby…

a lot of people also swear by NAET practitioners (you’ll have to do a search here or google it)

but, to be honest, the majority of alternative remedies seem to work in conjunction with Western Medicine, i.e. medication, i.e. PPIs…

Based on my experience with NAET I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

We tried chiro and while my dd’s rfelux did not go away, it did help to calm her down and help her sleep a bit better.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

I have been taking DD for 4 weeks and she is two months old. It has helped her, I feel, the muscles in her back are looser and she is so calm afterward. I take her one time a week to a chiro I really trust.
