Okay, I posted an introduction msg when my son was 9 weeks old. He is now 12 weeks and what a DIFFERENCE. I am so happy that he is a new, happy little guy.
* We changed from Zyntac over to Prevacid. He is taking 1/2 of a 15mg solutab. I didn’t like to dissolve it in water, so I just hold it in his mouth til it dissolves and it works great.
* We switched from Nutramigen over to Neocate. Necoate is only a few $ more than Nutramigen and a world of difference. It is the most broken down formula on the market and amino acid based. He is doing sooo well on this!!!! I went to

* He was taking Oatmeal (2 tsp per ounce) with his formula, but neocate is not very thick so he was not keeping it down at all. Only doing Oatmeal b/c he was constipated on Rice. I decided to try Rice again and we went to Beechnut Rice for baby. The make rice for baby and rice for 4+ mos, so would recommend the one for baby! He is not spitting up anywhere near as much, a little consitpated, but still going 1x a day.
* I just recently took a trip (6 hr car ride). He has always screamed in his car seat and he fully screamed for the 6 hour car trip. I called my dr. and asked what I could do to make him more comfortable. The dr. said he is probably car sick. In my heart, I knew his car seat was a bad angle and it was his reflux that was making him cry like that. I read “on this site” about this issue and was told to switch and try the Britax car seat. We did have Britax from my 1st child. My husband brought it down to meet me on vacation and he did NOT cry at all on the way home. He has been great in the car ever since and I am so happy it worked.
