Have any of your LO’s had an issue with snoring because of the reflux. My son’s ENT told me that he has cobblestoning in his throat due to the reflux. She told me that his air passage is blocked a little because of the little bumps, and therefore can cause the snoring. She also informed me that he has enlarged tonsils . . . like the poor kid doesn’t have enough to deal with.

Oh Lord, I know one day I’ll look back on this experience and laugh, or cry, or both :o)

Was just wondering if anyone else ever went through the same sort of thing.

Yes, we had snoring issues with both and both have had tonsils/adenoids removed. I believe their T/A were enlarged due to intolerances that we never figured out, but helped both when we got them out to sleep better, breathe better, etc……

Thanks for the info. How old were they when they had that done? And which doctor recommended it?

Dylan was 18 months and Carter was 21 months…. both recommended by ENT….. but Carter was also recommended by pulmonologist as his airway was blocked also by his flat nose and very floppy trachea so two compromised airways to start and then with the swollen tonsils it only made things so difficult for him…..

My little guy snores already, and he’s not even 4 weeks yet!
