Hello All!
I’ve been a lurker here for a while and have learnt quite a lot about MSPI from everyone here. Thanks for the same.
My DD was diagnosed with MSPI at 4 weeks and has been on NeoCate since.
She just turned 1 and our GI finally gave the go-ahead to try Soy. We started crumbled Tofu, a bit of cheese and one feeding of Silk (6oz) yesterday. She didnt throw up nor did we notice any immediate physical changes. I have a few questions and hoping one of you will be able to answer.
1. Is Silk brand Soy Milk safe to give to infants?
2. She seemed fine so far, but been very gassy. Does this mean she is adjusting to it or she is being intolerant? No vomitings yet – which is good I gues.
3. How do we introduce more food for her?
4. Any other thoughts/suggestions or info on foods we can offer?
Thanks much in advance,
LMNN
