Okay so here is my problem. I had to call my family doctor to get a new RX of zantac for Conner…..BUT he will not go by the weight/dose index he specifically believes in one dose for the lifetime of the reflux.
I had no choice but to call his office for the meds because he is the only clinic open on Saturdays and I was completely out of Zantac.
He prescribed the 0.5 2 x daily….even though Conner gets 3.7ML daily
Okay this is the only way I can explain my question lol
Doc Taylors RX
0.5 ML 2 x’s daily @ 15mg/5ML
PED GI’s RX
3.7ML daily @ 75mg/5ML
So with my PED GI RX I give Conner 1.5ML AM and 2.2ML PM to equal the 3.7ML
How many ML’s do I give Conner with Dr Taylors RX since the MG per ML is different? I need it to equal 3.7 or the equivalent. Do I need to give twice as much of the 0.5 RX?
Does that make sense? lol
I know id do the math myself but honestly ladies I am completely math/number irrliterate lmao
