Well ladies I have some spectacular news! Conner is finally gaining weight! He is now 13 pounds! He hasn’t grown much in length but im pretty vertically challenged(sp) lol.
The upper GI did however show slight swelling of his lower esphagus and upper stomach because of inflamation(sp) due to large amounts of acid being produced. So he stays on his Zantac and Prevacid AND the best news of all…my PED GI has agreed to let me follow the Marci-kids dosing and allowing me to keep him on his max amount of zantac per the methods used here 🙂
So I think I finally found a doc willing to work with me and Conner so that my precious little man can finally have some relief.
Also I got him off the 8 ounces and have him content with just 6 ounces. He is still spitting up, but thats going to keep happening reguardless of the meds, but Im finally getting what I want from my PED GI. He is also going to do a scope of his lower half just to amuse me lol because I want to make sure his lower half is working like it should aswell.
So thats my update, I know there will be good days and bad days, but im just finally relieved that it isn’t another huge medical issue causing his discomfort.
