Do food allergies cause reflux?

I recently switched allergist and the Dr. there told me that there is no way food allergies cause reflux. I thought this was crazy because I’ve had several Doctors say that it does, plus the research I have done says the same thing. So I called the other branch which is the main office that about 10 highly rated allergy doctors work at and they all said that there is no correlation between food allergy and reflux.

How can this be?!

Did I miss something or is this just not well known?

I’m going to take him back to the allergist at Miami Children’s Hospital, at least she believes it’s true. But, her wait is like 3 months, ahhhhh!!!!
