Has anyone researched into this? If so, what did you find out?
I have recently learned a lot more about vaccinations and autism. What I am learning is that it has a lot to do with the gut. So, I wonder if there could be a correlation between vaccines and reflux.
I know that there is something causing my 15 month olds reflux. I just want a freakin answer…
If anyone has any info on this I would really applicate it.
Many on here have reported a flare up w/ reflux after vaccines for up to 2wks (myself included) but I wouldn’t say that it’s a long-term cause of reflux.
Beth I would pm Sheri (MFPIX2) she has done tons of research and is dealing with both autism and reflux with her kids. She is currently out of town so I don’t know if she is checking the board. I will say that she has helped me understand vaccines and reflux/autism and the relation so much better. I would think she is probably one of the best people on here to ask, but I would pm her so you can get her 100% honest thoughts. HTH. I will say that Cooper didn’t react to any vaccines in regards to his reflux. The only vac he reacted to was a skin reaction with his chicken pox… I do think all babies are different and family hx has allot to do with things as well.
I actually haven’t heard of there being a link. However we do not vaccinate at all and both of my boys had reflux. The only thing they both did get was the vitamin k shot. Luke because he was born in the hospital and Justice got it, but I can’t remember why. My midwife recommended it for some reason. Hopefully this baby I’m pregnant with won’t need it.
