My LO is on Prevacid solutabs right now. It’s very difficult to get him all the medicine. I see it on his lips, chin, cheeks, or even in his spit up. If we can get the pharmacy to make the prevacid compound correctly, do you think that would be better?

yes but I would just try for caracream/buffer babies…

as for the solutabs, you can just put it on the inside of baby’s cheek & hold it there & it will dissolve- wash it down with some water

change the location of the tab from day to day so as not to continue irritating the same spot in mouth

solutab must be given on empty stomach followed by meal 30 minutes later- no wait time for caracream or properly compounded PPI

I did the cheek thing yesterday and it worked great! Today…not so much. Maybe it just takes practice.
