hey there,
we were away & along the way I visited a high school friend- of course her baby has reflux & I cannot believe I’m just hearing about it now, when baby is 9 & 1/2 months…well, as much as i love my friend she’s not so great about keeping in touch, nor is she a ‘complainer’- also I don’t know if she knew/knows how much of a guru I am, LOL!!!ok so me being me, I had dh stop at a walmart on the way to her house- my thought was that I’d show up w/ some mylanta cherry supreme & even some pepcid ac…Where on earth does one find the mylanta? when ari was born, I recall looking for it & the one place i did find it was walmart…hmmm…also, there are a ton of pepcid chewables out there!! which one for our babies??thanks!~lauraAugust 6, 2008 at 5:17 pm #55122AnonymousInactiveWhere I live we have 2 Walmarts; only one has the Cherry Supreme Mylanta. Our Target also has the Cherry Supreme, but most of our grocery stores don’t carry it. I think you might have to “hunt”.
When we were not on a high enough dose of Prevacid, I gave Nicholas Pepcid Complete Chewable Berry flavored. I ended up smashing it up in a small bowl with a spoon and dissolving it with about 3-4mls of water. Then I sucked it up with an oral syringe and gave it to him.August 6, 2008 at 5:22 pm #55123AnonymousInactiveDh was the one that went out & bought Mylanta (I remember it clear as anything… Evan was 2wks old & it was the worst day ever)… anyway, he either got it @ Publix grocery store (I know you know what that is since you’re from FL) or Target. I’m almost positive he went to Publix though.

I bought the pepcid complete berry flavor for Cooper but I ended up taking it instead for my nightly bought of heartburn.. it works fast and tastes good. I would use about a 1/2 tab and do what Kristin said about smashing and water.
