have you tried saline? at every diaper change? There were periods of time when I was using it w/ jonah to prevent ear infections and to help clear the ones he had, but in your case I bet it would help get things ‘moving- it’s not harmful at all and might help…just the regular adult kind (little noses brand is the exact same thing but costs a lot more)

Like Laura said, saline saline saline. I do this as often as I remember with my ds (usually 6-8 times per day). He really hates it and acts like I am pulling out his toenails when I do it. I only suction him with the bulb syringe once in the am and once before bed. When I do suction him, I also suction his throat b/c my ds tends to accumulate a lot of “junk” in there. The rest of the time, I just squirt some saline in both nostrils and let the “stuff” run down the back of his throat. I used to suction more, but thanks to the lovely ladies here, I realized that it was making the congestion worse. Good luck!

Taylor has been on Zyrtec since she was 5 months old. I think the original dosing was 1/4 tsp when she was that young. She is now taking 1 tsp once a day.
