Not sure where to post this, so doing it here..
Saturday night, Jacob was sleeping.. I just went and laid down(it was after midnight) and I heard my husband say something to older son about Jacob spitting up and to help him(clean it up). But older son couldn’t help.. Jacob wasn’t breathing~he had spit up a lot and some of it was clear.
My husband brought Jacob into me and we were trying to get him cleared out, finally(it felt like forever) we got him to a point where he could breathe again.
Even after, he was still pretty congested and has lots of fluid in his mouth. We sat up with him for quite awhile after to watch him.
Total time he wasn’t breathing was maybe 30(not real sure) seconds but it seemed like a long time.
This has never happened to him before, so I’m hoping it was a one time thing as it really freaked us out.
We go next Monday to the GI doctor, and it can’t come fast enough.
