Noah has Laryngomalacia and it is the scariest sounding thing in the world. But I was told by the Dr that it wasn’t that big of a deal. I have noticed that his breathing is defiantly worse right after feedings, when he gets upset, and specifically at night. Last night I stayed awake listening to him breathe. I noticed that he would actually stop for a full two count and then gasp himself awake slightly when he started to breathe again. When he was diagnosed the Dr was the least worried about this part of everything, and told me he would grow out of it with in three months of age. I am going to bring it up at his appointment Fri, and ask what can be done. Could this be the reason he is sleeps so poorly sometimes? Could it be an allergy issue? Because he also thought he had a stuffy nose. In my mind I think he might have adenoid issues as well. Because the child shows no signs of a cold or congestion in the “normal” sense.
