I finally, FINALLY, got in to see the GI and I was soooooooooo happy to have him say “We need to find out what’s going on”
He’s from the school of thought that Xavier’s on “too much” PPI as of right now, but I’ll deal with that later after we find out what’s hurting him so much!!!
Because of his lung issues we’re having to coordinate with the pulmonologist to see what HE wants to do as X-man has a wheeze that’s only audible by stethoscope…we might do a few days of steriods before putting him under general. While he’s under they’ll put in the tube for the Ph study and then we can try to figure out how to keep him from pulling THAT out for 24 hours~
This is the lil boy who pulled his OG tube out 6 times in two days before the NICU nurses got the dr to d/c it! I guess we’ll just do our best and see what we get!
I finally feel like someone is listening to me say “He’s in pain” and wanting to stop it…like someone’s finally fighting for us.
Oh, and whichever of you suggested it might be MSPI…that’s what the GI is leaning toward, also! LOL
