We were giving her about 1ml 4x per day of the Reglin and it did help her sleep and not spit up so much, but didn’t seem to help the acid all that much, still has pain & other symptons, although not gagging as much either.
Called dr. after 4-5 days of use and she said go ahead and try zantac and stop the reglin, keep using mylanta for quick temporary relief. We will give zantac 3x per day. I asked for prevacid but I didn’t get to talk to her directly. Pharmacist said maybe because the prevacid is not available in the form they used for babies anymore. Zantac is a syrup.
Anyway, will it help her any? Even if it only helps for a couple weeks that is something. Then dr. says she is open to trying other drugs if this doesn’t fix her.
Anything we should nkow about giving her zantac & mylanta together, i.e. which one before feeding, which one after? Dr. said last time to give mylanta after feeding and reglin before, but didn’t say really about when to give zantac.
