I give my baby 22.5 MG of prevacid solutab every day. I’ve been giving her the whole dose in the morning. Do you think I should split it up into one dose morning and the other half at night? The reason I give it all in the morning is that she eats so often during the day, the only time I’m REALLY sure her tummy is empty is first thing in the morning.
She does sleep through the night, although she shifts around quite a bit in her crib in the early morning hours. (maybe that is normal baby behavior?) She stays asleep even while moving all over the crib, and she wakes up happy (no bursts of crying out in her sleep). So I’m thinking it’s okay to just give one dose in the morning? The doctor didn’t care what I did–said the medicine stays in her system for about 18 hours. I don’t want her to be “unprotected” for part of the night.
Just wondered if anyone else had success with one daily dose.
