I think some of you probably know our Zegerid retrial failed a couple weekends ago. Well, I had to call my ped office to beg for PPI drugs (anything they had available as my GI office is useless) so anyway, I called to let my ped know that we tried zegerid and it didn’t work out but that our insurance wasn’t going to cover another PPI again in the same month and I only had 3 packs of nexium left. So he goes “well I have a TON of prevacid, what dose is Landen on?” and I sighed really loud (LOL) and said “a measly 15mg” and he said “that’s kind of low isn’t for his weight?” <jill nearly fainted but grabs hold of the countertop to steady herself> “um yeah….we need 30mg” and he says “I have 4 months worth of 30mg solutabs to get you through the next 4 months since you are moving” <nearly fainted again>
And can I say that Landen is pulling to stand on everyting and now I am hardly hearing the gulping sounds. So now I am not sure if the improvement is from him being on 30mg for the last 6 days or from his standing. LOL
Wow, that is awesome!! I’m so glad your doc was so willing to help. What a relief, huh? SO glad Landen’s doing so well – whatever the cause.
