I posted here a couple weeks ago that my daughter was to get an endoscopy today… well it didn’t happen. i misunderstood the directions and gave dd water before the procedure, b/c she has severe reflux the anesthesiologist denied the procedure today and it will be rescheduled. I was so upset … its nerves and stress i just can’t take waiting knowing there is something wrong.

This past thursday she spit up blood and screamed for 2 hours afterwards, and had a awful weekend. the pedi thinks it might be an ulcer or the reflux has irritated her esophagus. we ruled out ear infection and so we are moving on to a blood test, urine test and a fecal test just to make sure that there isn’t something else wrong. but both pedi and Gi think it is reflux related.

i was just updating for those of you i told you i would!

i am sorry i don’t post much to support you guys, but i am just so stressed and busy… i really wish all of you the best and wish i could help you and your babies, oh i know you know how i feel and wouldn’t want anybody to go through what you go through with your babies!

Oh no! I’m so sorry that they had to reschedule the test! How frustrating. Hopefully they’ll be able to book her in soon, especially given that she’s spitting up blood. Hang in there. We all know what it’s like.

Big hugs to you and your baby. I sure know how hard this reflux thing can be. for when do they reschudeled the endoscopy?

i see she is on Nutramigen. if she has allergies issues, an elemental formula might work better for her. I hope they can give you answer and help her feel better soon.

I am sooo sorry too! I def. know how fraustrated you must be! If Shanes test got canceled for next week, I would be so upset! I understand how the waiting period seems forever. But atleast you are heading in the right direction… and you have doctors that are trying to help you figure it out! And do believe that it is reflux! So.. your heading there.. and hopefully it wont be too long until you get the answers! Hang in there!! And let us know when the new test is!

we got a reschedual on oct 23
… she is now switched to previcid to help what ever is bleeding to heal just in case.
