First Words!

This past month or two Bryce has finally started making lots of new sounds. For the longest time he would only say “ma ma ma” and “ya ya ya” type sounds, but has recently learned a lot of new ones.

This past week or so we finally have heard him say some actual words! The other day he put a toy on his head and said “hat”!! (It sounds more like hat without the “t”) I was so surprised! He’s been saying it quite a bit since then. All these milestones seem so much more exciting with Bryce because we’ve had to wait so much longer with him. Our other boys were really advanced speech wise (especially Parker), so it’s been really weird having a 21 month old who doesn’t talk (or walk for that matter). Anyway, he can also say “dog” nearly perfectly, only he doesn’t have any idea what a dog is!
