We love this thing! Landen outgrew his bouncer really early on. Well, really he would lean to the side and sort of tip it over!! So, we found this new chair and every feature on it is perfect for my little GERDling. It is VERY upright when in the upright position. It has calming vibrations. It goes up to 40 lbs (my almost 3 yo can sit in it) it is very sturdy. The sides are high and he cannot tip it even when leaning forward. It has a swing away and removable toy bar. It can be a stable chair or rocker. He has fallen asleep in it several times when his reflux was bad and slept for hours in it. I just thought I’d pass it along…It is available at Toys R Us/Babies R Us and Target Online. I have not seen them in stores yet. I am pasting the pic from the BRU website.

It’s one of the best baby items we’ve used. I love it!
About the nexium, we use Powder packets 20mg. I empty it into a little plastic cup, add the 15mL water and swirl it around lightly and it thickens within 2 mins. Then I just administer it with a regular medicine dropper, not a dosing syringe. Although lately, Landen has been spitting it ALL out. Not just the nexium….ANYTHING in a medicine dropper!! We may have to go back on solutabs on a babyspoon if this doesn’t stop!!
The nexium is doing well for him. The week we started him on it there was a major improvement with him. He suddenly started eating better (bottle and spoon) he seemed to be in less pain, started sitting independently, etc. Not sure if it was a coincidence or the nexium really is/was performing better.Hope this helps!THANKS FOR THE B-DAY WISHES KATE!!
