Also, I am not sure if we are at a turning point with Landen or if the Nexium is just “the answer” for him, but he is no longer crying at the sight of the spoon, in fact, he has gotten REALLY hungry to the point where neocate just wasn’t cutting it. We reintroduced some solids and he’s been devouring them! His favorite food so far is carrots and he loves applesauce mixed with his oatmeal. I will say too, that until we cured his chronic constipation with daily miralax, he had no appetite and we also started that when we started the nexium. Maybe we just found the right combo of things to make him feel better.

Then, as if the thrill of seeing him eat and be so satisfied wasn’t enough, he started sleeping better! So I thought I would try the crib. I started out Wednesday night by laying him down with his rainforest soother on and by the time it was done playing the songs, he was out cold and didn’t wake until the next morning! He’s been sleeping like this since! He also started sitting unassisted this week and is starting to pull up to his knees.

I’ve waited SO long to see him so happy! Kaden is interacting with him so much this week. It has been so fun to watch them laugh together.
