I’ve always avoided posting here in fear of enraging the “reflux gods” and paying for it the next few days, but I’m going to risk it.We went to the beach on Monday for a few days, and had a wonderful time. I had been dreading this trip for weeks.. the thought of dealing with a refluxer, sleeping (or trying to) in the same room, eating in restaurants and most certainly ruining my milk/soy free diet.. all of that was too overwhelming. Then Ben got an ear infection a few days before the trip. But after an extra trip to the doctor to make sure his ears were clearing, we went. And I’m so glad we did. He had a great time… was terrified of the ocean
, but LOVED the sand, the pool and the time with all of us. And, best of all, we enjoyed him. It’s been a LONG 9 1/2 months, but we are finally able to enjoy our little man (most of the time anyway 
).He is crawling, pulling up on things, signing, “talking”, and is generally a happy little guy!!!HOORAY FOR YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Naomi this is so great to hear. I know how stressful it has been for me sometimes to just plan leaving the house for a good amount of time in the past but how awesome that you guys had such a great little getaway!!! Yay for little Ben who has been through so much and deserves the happiest of happy times

That’s great news! I’m glad to hear he’s doing so well and you are enjoying fun events like trips to the beach. I remember how nice it was when I could finally take Myles somewhere and relax and enjoy it.

Ben looks like such a yummy little chunk!!!!! I swear everytime I see his pic I laugh!(b/c he’s so cute…you know what I mean) What a handsome little man.
