Hi All,

I was looking at the magazine rack at the grocery store for something to take along with me on vacation, and I stumbled upon “Wonder Time” magazine, and the top article listed is “Colic Cured?”. I’ve never heard of this magazine before, so I’m not sure what it’s like, and I haven’t read the article yet, but it looks like it’s about a Pedi GI talking about Acid Reflux. It’s the June/July/August 2007 edition. If someone else has already posted about this, sorry! If not, I’ll update on Tuesday when I return and have had a chance to read it.

It looks like they have a website: http://www.wondertime.com, so maybe it’s on there?

I LOVE this magazine which was actually reccommended by a mama from this forum The article is awesome and VERY worth reading in addition to Dr.V’s book “Colic Solved”. Just my two cents

I love that book… I learned a lot… and it so validated a lot of the feelings and issues I had when we were just getting Ben diagnosed… I didnt get beyond the first page and I was crying …. it brought a lot of his first couple of months back… it was awful for him… but time and meds have improved a lot… thank goodness!

OMG! I feel so validated now.

I want to send that article to my family who said that Aidan’s reflux was a “laundry problem, not a medical one” or to the oncall pediatrician in the hospital that told me she was just colicky and I should deal with it.

Wow, just had time to read a little of it. Oh how I would have taken this article into my doc in the first month of my child’s life for him to read….. if only I had time back then! But I was busy with all those horrible things going on! I certainly does help validate my feelings from the past like all you other moms have said! I should really send this to MIL! What’s the point, she still wouldn’t get it……

I actually printed it for our peds unit where I work for the nurses to read… I work at a small community hospital.. no gi specialist for at least an hour or so away.. so I thought it would be informative for them to read , as they have little experience with reflux babies.
