I took Isaac to the ped (the regular one not ped gi) b/c he had been unconsolable and gassy for 4 days straight. I told him all about the ped gi switching Isaac’s medicine without telling us. I told him how rude the nurse was and he said he is calling the ped gi. He said he wants the ped gi to know that his nurse didn’t contact us about the change in medicine and how rude she was to us. He said he has had other complaints about the nurse but this was the worst yet. He said he will call me back when he speaks to the ped gi and let me know what was said! My ped was also saying that due to Isaac’s history he wouldn’t have put him on the solutabs b/c of the lactose in them. He thinks Isaac may be lactose intolerant but said it is hard to say at this point if that is the problem. He said that he was more than happy to give me a rx for protonix again so Isaac can get better!
So this morning he has had no medicine as it takes a long time to compound protonix. My dh will pick it up after work so i am hoping that the missed dose will not cause an uproar around here. Then again it has been bad around here for a few days now. He was up for hours last night screaming. Hopefully it will all be behind us soon!
