Hi everyone,
After 3 very taxing days of non-stop vomiting, Autumn was put back in the hospital today. Don’t have any information yet, I will update as I know more. Thanks again for all of the support I have received.

Hang in there! At least she’s in a place where they can provide her with some help and hopefully some better solutions to what’s been going on This is so hard. My heart hurts for you and your family and what you’re going through. Just keep keepin’ on. It’s so hard to be strong inside for your baby when inside you’re falling apart but know that Autumn knows you’re doing everything you can for her. I hope today is a better and brighter day for you and your family. I’ll be thinkin’ of you!

i am so sorry Autumn needed to go back to the hopsital, but hopefully they can help her out while there and you can get some answers. I’ll be thinking of your little one and your family.

I was just wondering if they did a gastric emptying scan, a pH probe, or a pyloric ultrasound for pyloric stenosis while in the hospital. Her projectile vomitting sounds really suspicious for pyloric stenosis.
Also, I know that they have her on a motility med, I think Reglan. The gastric emptying scan will tell you if she has DGE. One of the motility meds (I can’t remember which one, maybe erythromycin) also has the added benefit of strengthening the LES. Sometimes after an ng tube the LES can get lazy b/c it was held open by the ng tube. Something to ask about anyways, I don’t know too much about it.
Could she be allergic to something in the medications making her vomitting worse?
Anyhow, I hope that they are able to help your poor little girl. Good luck. You sound like a really good dad.

Hopefully the hospital will be the place for some answers (maybe after some testing, etc.). I agree with Therese – you are an amazing dad! I hope you have a Happy Father’s Day weekend
