So glad today is better than yesterday!

Hi all,

I just have to share the inner happiness that I am feeling. Today is such a different day than yesterday. Yesterday I was the Queen of Grumpy accompanied by 3-1/2 yr old Princess Talks-and-Whines-Constantly and 15 month old Prince I-Don’t-Feel-Good-and-Just-Want-To-Cry-In-Mommy’s-Arms.&nbsp ;

We’ve been dealing with a nasty stomach bug since Monday night. It got to the point that sometimes you had to watch where you walked so that you would not step in vomit or diarrhea that leaked from the diaper. ICK!!! Thankfully, my daughter is old enough that she was able to run into the bathroom and make it there most of the time before vomiting. And, thankfully, she didn’t have a fever. But my ds has had it pretty bad. So, he has also missed several doses of Zegerid (or gotten it and then soon after “returned” it all over me). So the night before last was horrid as his reflux was out of control on top of feeling sick otherwise. Yesterday was down hill all the way since I was sooooo tired.

But…yeah…last night the reflux wasn’t a problem and he only woke once due to his fever coming back!! And he’s taking a nice long nap now. I’ve been able to play with my daughter and be happy with her instead of feeling constantly frustrated. Isn’t a new day a beautiful thing??
