Slimy Poo

my son was on zegerid and still miserable. once i switched to neocate (completely milk and soy free) he was 100% better. what happens is if they are intolerant to milk or soy protiens, they build up in the system and damage the GI tract. this causes the reflux to flair up etc…

We never could get the 20mg packets of Zegerid to go through with her insurance and the 40mg packets did nothing for her not to mention she hated the taste. Now Im giving her 7.5mg of Prevacid solutab three times a day and 2ml of Mylanta before her two naps and bedtime and on occasion if she wakes up in the middle of the night crying. She has started throwing her head back and whining while trying to BF just here in the last two weeks. I almost thought maybe my supply was getting low because when I would switch sides, she would quit crying. But now even that isnt helping so Im back to thinking its a reflux issue.

I guess I should have specified better that I was asking for some one who also has a refluxer but her 5 week old daughter is having slime in her poo and vomit. She goes to a specialist tomorrow but we all know that if you dont get a good one, they dont really do our children any good.
