so on Friday I called the GI dr and I told him that I had given Ryder a dose of axid on top of prevacid. He agreed to letting me give him a dose of axid at night along with his prevacid.

He didn’t sleep too great, but DH and I agreed that it was time to let him cry a bit at night. He always seems to wake up a hour after being put down. So we have been lettig him cry (only for about 5 mins or so) then he SLEEPS!!!b he is only getting up TWO TIMES at 10 months!!! I am still i shock this is bliss!

I think I will let him cry at the 2 feeding after a week or so. I almost didn’t want to post this -I fear that once I post it would backfire!

Good for you!!! CIO is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done as a parent but it worked great for us! Hope it continues for you!!!

I had to laugh when I read this because I think we all say that if we post on this thread that it will come back to bite us in the butt.

So far so good! I am still in shock. Though he woke up at 11:15 and then once more at 4ish???? not too sure about the time. I was in a daze!

Now all we need to do is to get rid of the early feeding—— am I being too hopefully??

It’s funny I think if we had let him CIO sooner we would have been sleeping better AWHILE ago but DH didn’t really want to let him do it, though when we did try he would cry sometimes for a long time.

Like I have said before I never had issues with any of my other kids ad sleeping but heck we sure did with ryder!!!

Great news Whitney…watch for being a little more tired yourself though…it will take your body a little bit of time to get used to all that sleep!. Maybe CIO works for little ones when they are pain free? Who cares….sleep is sleep (after one bad night this week I finally understand what that means)
