Aidan has had diarrhea for the last week or so. No vomiting, no fever, nothing else really but diarrhea. Bad, smelly, diarrhea….to the point where it is leaking out of the diaper, down his legs and up his back to his neck while lying down……IVe actually had to CUT clothes off of him to help in the clean up…..its THAT bad…..
I took him to the pediatrician yesterday who told me he checked OK. Ears, throat, etc, etc……all fine. He then proceeded to tell me the diarrhea is transient, that it will come and eventually go away but the thing I am worried about is that its been almost a week and hasnt!!!!!!! He isnt dehydrated and he is still taking in solids and formula.
Has anyone ever had an issue like this where it was just diarrhea? No seen or obvious cause…..
Could it be issues with the medicine? A result of the reflux? Bowel problems?
I am clueless and at my wit’s end with this….Ive seen enough diarrhea in the last week to last a LIFETIME!!!!!!
