I just want to say that today has been great. No crying, struggling at the bottle, and she is having good naps without being held. I held out those 2 weeks while I waited for the med to kick in.
We will still be going to see the Ped. GI next week.
My next challenge is getting her to sleep in her crib.
That is wonderful!!!! It is so great once our little ones are not in pain anymore. 🙂 Don’t worry about the crib thing…I know tons of babies who didn’t sleep in them until they were 6 months or older (myself included)
Great news!!! The crib thing will happen on its own. We weren’t able to transition Sarah from the swing to the crib until her reflux was under control…a lot of things seemed to fall into place once she wasn’t in pain anymore!
LOVE her Christmas dress! That is an adorable picture! Amy
That is such a good news, very happy for you . I’m also waiting for my 2wks probation to be over for my little Jay so he would eat (solids) better and start putting on some weight. He started to nurse a little bit better since we started Prevacid 11 days ago.
Congrats on the prevacid working. It has been wonderful for us too. Plus so much easier to give it to her. We seen a dramatic improvement exactly at two weeks also.
Did it take the full 2 weeks? I’m holding out with my son now too, but each day is like an eternity! We’re only on day 4. I would like to know when it started working for your daughter. Congratulations on finding something to give her some relief! I would love some relief for my son too.
