She has STREP!! And since we’re at my parent’s, she wasn’t able to see her PCP. She’s lost weight, again, and the doctor we did see, was a jerk about her weight loss, even though I told him that she was failure to thrive, with a recent fundo, and severe reflux. He said it wasn’t a big deal at all. WTH! I told him that her PCP and her specialist would be very concerned that she’s lost weight again, and he blew me off.

Poor Aidan

Sorry to hear she has strep! That’s got to be miserable for both of you. Also sorry to hear about the weight loss. Has her sore throat affected her appetite? I hope she gets feeling better soon and can put some weight back on!

Poor sweetie.

I’m sorry the doctor blew you off like that. How insensitive. I hope she’s feeling better soon. My crew’s all been sick this week (with rotavirus…..nasty!) and Myles is losing weight. He’s not FTT but I’m still concerned, so I sure understand your fear and concern.

Can you give her more calories through her tube while she’s sick? (Sorry, I’m pretty ignorant about these G-tubes).

I am so sorry to hear about Aidan…and Drs make me so mad sometimes…I would just like to give the one you saw a piece of my mind. I hope she feels better soon. I will be praying for you!
