Hello, ladies. I just wanted to know when did your babies outgrow reflux (at what age?). And the second question is: did anyone ever use the Hyland Colic Tablets and find them useful/useless? Thank you for all your replies.
Both of my refluxers outgrew it at around 9 months.
I have used Hyland Colic tablets and I do find that they take the edge off teething pain, but I don’t think they work well enough to pass on the Tylenol or Motrin when teething is at it’s worst…at least not for my teething monster!
My first outgrew reflux at 9 months also. I was told by his gi that that is the magic age. We are still waiting for our 6 month old to outgrow it. As far as the colc tablets they didn’t seem to help us.
Jonah was (relatively) reflux free at 12 months. He was PPI free at 12 months & took zantac and/or mylanta ‘as needed’ for a few more months…(I have been known to still give him tums from time to time up until now, at age 3, but that could just be the neurotic mommy in me)
hylands teething tablets worked wonders for jonah (never tried the colic tablets)
