Difficult times for my nephew

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear about your nephew, and Caleb and his family will be in my prayers. Although my older daughter has seizures, hers were found not to be epileptic i.e. she has a normal EEG, so I don’t really know too much about it. I do know that some of the meds can really have difficult side effects some that can alter concentration and personality, so hopefully he does not have autism as well, and the cause is really the meds. There is a very good book on the subject, Epilepsy and Seizures in childhood by someone from John’s hopkin’s (I believe that’s the title, I could double check if you want).
