They also used to make a swing that had this same design. We wanted it SO badly – it was at the top of our gift registry as our #1 choice – but it was discontinued. We saw a few that were leftover at babies r us but they were all banged up so we didn’t get it. I bet it would have been great too!

Damn, we’d work in the weight range but Sarah is already crawling and
sitting up on her own. 🙁 I’m grasping at any strings I can
get to keep her happy lately cause her reflux is way worse since she
grew out of the wedge/sling we had for her originally.

I think the sitting up part depends on the child. I have friends that were able to use their bouncy seats for months after their baby started sitting up. Kaelyn was really active and started trying to throw herself out of her bouncy seat almost immediately. A fairly calm baby should be okay.
